#NeverSeenBefore: The state-of-the-art cleanroom facility is the first and only dedicated fully automatic automotive camera manufacturing facility in India.

Launched in December 2025, Tata AutoComp Systems’ TATA FICOSA plant in Pune, Maharashtra, builds low-voltage differential signal (LVDS) and other high-definition (HD) cameras for passenger vehicles, which are critical to safety, comfort and convenience features.

This facility is fully automated and digitalised as per Industry 4.0. It combines proven technology from FICOSA (Europe) with localised manufacturing, delivering global quality at India scale.

Fun Fact: This high-speed production line with 15-second cycle time can produce about 1.0mn cameras, annually, with the capacity scalable up to 4.0mn units per year to meet growing OEM demand.

In this series, Tata.com brings you an exclusive peek into the Tata Group.
