New York Fashion Week got a taste of Tanishq’s craftsmanship earlier this year with The Pilgrimage — 40+ creations set in gold, diamonds and polki curated for Indian-American fashion designer Bibhu Mohapatra’s (seen above, bottom left) runway artistry.

Jalsa, a limited edition timepiece by Nebula — a tribute to 225 years of Jaipur’s architectural marvel, the Hawa Mahal — was engineered at the intersection of traditional craftsmanship and horological mastery. Each dial hand-painted on marble by Padma Shri awardee Shakir Ali, one of India’s most celebrated miniaturists. Each watch powered by Titan’s in-house calibre 7TH2, a flying tourbillon movement composed of 144 components and 14 jewels. Together, a celebration of heritage and haute horlogerie.
Redefining Indian luxury jewellery through a first-of-its-kind international collaboration, Zoya co-crafted a limited edition capsule with British designer Alice Cicolini. The 19-piece collection draws from the layered architecture of Lhasa to reinterpret India’s enamel artistry. Thoughtfully perfected over five years, it transcends adornment. It is art.
What links embroidery techniques like chikankari, kashida, zardozi, and studded detailing with karigari techniques like rawa, filigree, chandak and enamel work?
