In September this year, Tanishq unveiled its first Rivaah Wedding Lounge — a 10,200 sq ft standalone space for Tanishq’s wedding-focused sub-brand that steps away from the standard showroom experience.
Inaugurated by Arun Narayan, Senior Vice President, Tanishq, celebrity stylist Rhea Kapoor and couture designers Falguni and Shane Peacock, the wedding lounge is an exclusive concept store designed to be a one-stop solution for every modern Indian bride, blending curated collections with bespoke services.
The first-of-its-kind store offers curated, culturally rich, and deeply personalised bridal jewellery experiences for every modern Indian bride. Bespoke services available at the store include curation of complete wedding trousseaus with coordinated sets and accessories, and personalised jewellery consultations with in-house bridal designers. Brides can also choose to transform cherished heirloom pieces into contemporary styles or personalise their jewellery with names, motifs, or special wedding elements. In addition, expert styling consultants are available to guide brides on pairing jewellery with their wedding ensembles, ensuring every look feels cohesive and complete.
“The Rivaah Wedding Lounge marks a significant milestone in Tanishq's 30th year,” said Arun Narayan, Senior Vice President – Tanishq, Titan Company Limited, on the occasion of the launch. “More than just another jewellery boutique, it is a fully curated destination dedicated to Delhi’s modern brides, offering personalisation, design expertise, trousseau curation, and styling services along with exquisite designs and rare karigari that together bring every bride’s dream wedding to life.”
From the intricate polkis of the North, to the delicate filigree of the East, to temple jewellery from the South and diamond brilliance from the West — the Lounge brings together craftsmanship and culture under one roof. At the heart of the Lounge lies the belief that every bride is unique not just in her personal style, but also in the beloved traditions from her heritage. Rivaah spans aesthetics from across India, ensuring that every bride finds jewellery that’s meaningful and deeply rooted in her culture. “As a stylist, I’ve always believed that bridal jewellery should be as personal and meaningful as the wedding itself, and that’s exactly what Rivaah by Tanishq stands for,” said Ms Kapoor at the event. “I’m so happy to partner with a brand that celebrates heritage, craftsmanship, and individuality in such a beautiful way.”
For families seeking a more intimate shopping experience, the Lounge features Exclusive Private Luxurious Lounges. Each level of the store is thoughtfully designed to reflect regional traditions and the evolving tastes of the contemporary bride. The journey begins in the basement, which brings alive North and West Indian bridal traditions, featuring modern gold sets, kundan trousseaus, heritage polki, and accessories like haath phools, bangles, and naths. The ground floor serves as a gallery, showcasing signature bridal jewellery from across India, offering visitors a glimpse into the diversity and artistry of the collections. Moving up, the first floor is dedicated to the South and East, with displays of nakashi carvings, meenakari detailing, antique and plain gold jewellery, South diamond trousseau pieces, and intricate glass kundan sets. Meanwhile, the second floor houses the diamond section, where timeless sparkle meets contemporary style, and features a dedicated karigari Room — a space where customers can test gold and experience Tanishq’s hallmark commitment to purity.
“Walking into the Rivaah Wedding Lounge feels like stepping into a couture studio, every detail is curated, every experience is personal,” said designer duo Falguni and Shane Peacock. “As designers, we resonate deeply with Tanishq’s commitment to craftsmanship and storytelling... The store is not just a space to shop; it’s where heritage, artistry, and personal expression meet, creating heirlooms that feel as special as the wedding itself.”
