Role purpose that tells you why we are hiring

- To efficiently manage procurement operations for Tata 1mg by sourcing, evaluating, and negotiating with suppliers to secure high-quality products at competitive prices.

-This role involves monitoring supplier performance, collaborating with internal teams to forecast demand, and analyzing market trends to inform strategic procurement decisions, ultimately ensuring timely delivery of products and maintaining optimal inventory levels while adhering to budgetary constraints.

- To be aware of product and their alternatives and their sources in market. Also, to be equipped with direct links with appropriate point of contact of companies as well as suppliers

Responsibilities that we'll trust you with

■ Source and evaluate suppliers based on quality, cost, and reliability

■ Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure advantageous terms

■ Monitor supplier performance and resolve issues to ensure timely delivery of high-quality products

■ Collaborate with internal teams to forecast demand and plan procurement activities

■ Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory levels

■ Analyze market trends and apply this knowledge to make insightful buying decisions

■ Prepare and present procurement reports to management

Preferred experience we'd expect of you:

■ Graduate with 6-8 years of experience in similar role

■ Excellent communication and negotiation skills

■ Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other procurement software

■ Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

■ Attention to detail and accuracy in procurement processes.
