Tech Design : Process Development | ||
1. Should be able to handle the end to end collections 2. Frequent discussions with NPD, D&D & R&D on understanding the costing, feasibility & stds. | · Simplified inputs to NPD · Right first time design | · Adherence to timelines · Quality of inputs |
Tech Design : Product Development | ||
1. Use 3D tools to develop virtual models of different forms & iterate to get the best aesthetics. 2. Creative problem-solving ability 3. Research who will use the product and the various ways it might be used 4. Sketch out ideas on new mechanisms. 5. Examine materials and production costs to determine manufacturing requirements 6. Work with NPD & other specialists to evaluate whether their design concepts will fill the need at a reasonable cost 7. Evaluate product safety, appearance, and function to determine if a design is practical. 8. Demonstrate prototypes to the stakeholders for approval 9. Co-Create with designers on the new inventions. 10. Very flexible approach to work and the ability to adapt to change with Product Designers. 11. Self-motivated attitude and the ability to initiate the new process which makes the work easier for the stake holders. 12. Providing multiple options to enhance the aesthetics considering Manufacturability. 13. Technical understanding of the movement drawing & adopt the required features. 14. Post proto feedback closure across the stake holders which play a major role for the bulk manufacturing. 15. Revisions with respect to the proto feedback. 16. Handling special projects with crunched lead-times. 17. Understand the Concept sketch and convert it to 3D by Using Creo with the minimum iterations for simple designs. 18. Coordinate with the NPD team in the development of the prototype aligned to the concept and ensure that it meets the quality / design requirements. | · Avoid iterations on the standards · Technical drawing · Providing better options · Easy visualisation of the 3d . · Proto samples | · Adherence to timelines · Quality of inputs · New forms on the case & components · Total no of new 3D models created · Quality of the product |
Tech Design : DEC LAB & OTHERS | ||
1. Utilization of DEC Lab available machineries. (Lathe,CNC milling,Laser machine,etc.,) | · Prototypes made by INH DEC LAB. | · No of projects worked with the stake holders · New materials introduced in the product. |
