Job Description
Primary responsibilities
Key task is to manage 100 Cr of Monthly Costs - MIS reports on costs, ensuring each cost being provided has sufficient back up in partnership with Vendor management team Manpower cost, FRT cost, O&M cost - Accounting of costs with proper back ups, ensuring the amounts provided reflect true and correct picture of accounts.
Managing Internal and statutory audit.
Providing all inputs to auditors as per requirements.
Ensure timely book closure and completion of all transaction accounting
Vendor wise, cost type wise and Km wise region wise route wise costing.
Cost Saving - Monitoring and implementation tracking, closely working with all operating functions to support them identify gaps and provide full financial support from finance perspective.
PR release and Budget monitoring - Ensuring field is fully supported on all PR release, ensuring budget approvals are in place, if not taking responsibility to escalate within finance and to Operation units for data and enable decision making within few days, PR should not be held up.
Vendor payments - Prioritizing vendor payments, Interacting with AP team wherever required. The role needs to ensure full support to Operations and Field work, working very closely with them.
Channel financing for Vendors Introducing Channel financing for Vendors in full support from Treasury function within TCTS.
GST and TDS reconciliation.
Some of work above is overlapping and person joining has to work in full collaboration with Finance team members within TCTS and within TCL.
Other responsibilities
Monthly Financial MIS and Monthly financial presentation preparation detailing all financial and non financial analysis for the CEO and CFO.
Board Presentation, Preparation of Board presentation for the Quarterly Board meetings in partnership with FPA team.
Financial analysis for CEO and Board, Variance analysis for cost line items for discussion with CEO and CFO, Balance Sheet analysis at quarterly intervals.
Mergers and Acquisitions, Analysis and Support required for discussion on any M&A activity on buy sell side. Key SPOC from Finance side for M&A related activities.
Capital Investment evaluation, Business case preparation for Capital Expenditure proposals.
Pricing Pricing quotes for deals working out P&L for bids and opportunities.
Key performance Indicators - Key stakeholder publishing monthly deck on KPI's.
Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes
From Costs perspective, 5year Strategic Plan, Annual Operating Plan, Preparation of Yearly Annual operating plan coordinating with each functional heads Cost plans, Financial modelling for each elements of AOP including Sensitivity Analysis, Driver Lever based AOP.
Costs Rolling Estimates and Outlook.
Special Projects Cost benchmarking studies across industry and thereby identifying best practices to be adopted, best productivity practices monitoring and reporting.
