Job Description


Purpose

Conceptual development of the process stages with respect to the product features considering the various factors of manufacturability and further sequence of development.

Key Responsibility

  1. Planning, proposing, and deciding the various stages of product development and its requirement.
  2. UNIGRAPHICS NX CAD-CAM VERSION12 /1926 / 1953, AUTO CAD, MS office
  3. Preparation of stage-wise process design of CNC operations.
  4. Prove out/validation of the process on CNC operations.
  5. Working on stack-up tolerance analysis with respect to process and related variables.
  6. Driving cost reduction project - Quality Improvement, Productivity Improvement.
  7. Monitoring and reducing Internal/External customer complaints.

    Qualification

    BE Mechanical / MS/ MTech -Product design

    Experience

    5 to 8 years

    Additional Technical Requirements

    1. Extensive hands-on experience with Process design Fundamentals
    2. Strong background of creating 2D drawings from models and process flow.
    3. Must be able to work with cross functional teams.
    4. Must be capable of drawing in process drawings following ISO standards.
    5. Experience in a fast-paced work environment, self-motivated
    6. Capable of creative conceptual thinking.
    7. Design dept supervisory experience a big plus.
    8. Capable of dealing with cross functional teams
    9. Understands the part geometry datums relative to downstream process.
    10. Awareness of PFMEA, 5S, 7problem solving QC tools etc.
    11. Designing the process for Mass manufacturing, Basic knowledge in CNC Programming, Knowledge of Inspection and Quality Processes, GD & T and SPC Knowledge will be a big plus.
    12. Basic Knowledge on Data analytics
    13. Basic awareness of Six Sigma Approach in problem solving and process optimization.
    14. Strong knowledge in Tolerance Stack up Analysis (TA) in Process Design
    15. Fair Exposure in KAIZEN methodology of Continuous Improvement and Execution
