Role Summary
In the above context, the Underwriters role is responsible to provide the technical assistance. They use computer software programs to determine whether to approve an applicant. They take specific information about a client and enter into a program. They analyze the risk factors on an application.
Key Accountabilities/ Responsibilities
Responsible for Achieving overall Gross Written Premium
- Team Management.
- Channel Relationship.
- Workshops, Camps.
- Assessing the quotations.
- GPW from Broking A - INR 24.48 Crores
- Timely follow up with the clients.
- Tracking religiously in first week of every month.
- Loss Ratio
- Proper QC and issuance of premium collected.
- Proactive in handling claims.
- 2 Calendar Days for local, 3 Calendar days for corporate approval, 5 Calendar days for regional approval.
Experience
- 3 - 4 years of experience in insurance sector.
- At least 3 to 4 years of experience of leading a company/ business line in Retail Sales.
- Graduated in any discipline.
- MBA Graduate mandatory
- Fresher's with knowledge of both vertical line
