Vistara commenced operations on 9 January, 2015 and has carried more than 10 million passengers till June 2018. The airline serves 22 destinations with fleet size of 19 Airbus A320 aircrafts.

Vistara is the only airline to introduce premium economy seats on domestic routes in India. Vistara offers 8 business class, 24 premium economy and 126 economy class seats in its 158-seater Airbus A320 fleet. As a full service airline, Vistara aims to serve the corporate and leisure travel market demanding high quality distinctive services.

As part of its expansion strategy, Vistara plans to launch its international operations shortly and is expected to induct up to 56 aircraft comprising both Narrow Bodies and Wide Bodies over a period of next 5 years.
