He is a seasoned business leader with diverse experience across strategy consulting, entrepreneurship, digital transformation, P&L management, and operations across the Consumer, Retail (online and offline), Media, and Technology sectors.
At TSMG, Shaurya has led high-impact engagements focused on growth strategy, mergers and acquisitions, and business incubation across consumer internet, retail, FMCG, and hospitality domains.
Prior to TSMG, he served as Business Head for English Entertainment at Zee Group, where he led the P&L and operations for leading entertainment and movie channels. He was instrumental in negotiating and acquiring content from global media giants including Disney, Sony, Warner Brothers, and Paramount.
Driven by his passion for entrepreneurship, Shaurya founded an e-grocery venture post-MBA, which was later acquired by Godrej Nature’s Basket. He subsequently led their omnichannel design & transformation, scaling premium grocery retail across India.
Shaurya began his career in the United States with Deloitte Consulting LLP, advising Fortune 500 clients on enterprise technology implementations and business process redesign.
He continues to stay deeply engaged with India’s startup ecosystem—mentoring early-stage founders and closely tracking disruptive business models and venture capital trends.
Shaurya holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, and an MBA from INSEAD, France & Singapore
