Sajith Sivanandan
CEO and MD, Tata Digital
Sajith Sivanandan is the Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Tata Digital. He also serves as the Chairman of the board of its key subsidiaries, BigBasket, Tata 1mg, Croma and Tata CLiQ.
With nearly three decades of experience, a majority of which were spent with global technology and consumer internet companies, Sajith is an experienced tech leader who is known for his expertise in scaling businesses from inception to market leadership.
His prior leadership journey includes serving as Chief Executive Officer of Disney+ Hotstar and Managing Director for Google Pay in the Asia-Pacific region. He also opened and grew Google’s operations in Malaysia and subsequently ran Google’s operations in Malaysia, Vietnam and Philippines before returning to India. Prior to joining Tata Digital, Sajith had a brief stint at Jio Mobile where he was President of Mobile Digital Services.
Sajith holds two MBA degrees, one in marketing from the FORE School of Management, New Delhi, and a second in finance with distinction from the Asian Institute of Management, Manila. He also holds a B.A. (Hons) in History from Hindu College, Delhi University. He has represented Singapore in cricket.
