Job Description
RF Optimization Engineers enhance radio frequency signal strength, design and implement RF layouts, and troubleshoot network issues. They-re accountable for maintaining optimal system performance, ensuring seamless wireless communication .
Responsibilities:
· Perform radio network optimization (RNO) activities to enhance network performance
· Analyze network performance statistics and identify trends to proactively optimize network performance for 2G/3G/4G and 5G
· LTE planning and initial optimization
· Responsible for Coverage/Capacity Planning and Optimization of existing and future network sites
· Interference mainly in 2G and 3G networks should be identified using the threshold values and help in clearing them using field support
· Provide technical support to field teams during network optimization activities
· Develop and implement optimization plans to meet network performance targets
· Conduct analyzation on drive tests reports to evaluate network performance
· Collaborate with other engineers and teams to address network issues and improve performance
· Provide regular reports and analysis on network performance to management
· Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in RF optimization
· Should recommend parameter under RAN for optimizing the network
· Optimization of growing networks to meet customer demand
· Plan performance optimization strategies and Analysis of current metrics
Requirements:
· Having good knowledge in RF Planning & optimization in GSM, UMTS, LTE & 5G technologies.
· Knowledge of RF optimization tools such as TEMS, Actix, Nemo, MapInfo, google earth and Atoll
· Experience with drive testing, network analysis, and troubleshooting.
· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Tool Expertise required
· Atoll, MapInfo, Google Earth, NEMO Outdoor, Netperform, NetACT, Omnix, TEMS, ActixOne , ZenPM (Tableau), Viscom, MyCom Pro-Optima, Ardea, ACTIX Analyzer.
