VSNL launches Tata Indicom Web Protect

Videsh Sanchar Nigam has launched Tata Indicom's Web Protect, an innovative product that enables users to block access to specific websites, chat rooms or any other unwanted content.

Tata Indicom Web Protect, in collaboration with Netsweeper Inc of Canada, is a web filtering solution, which is available to Tata Indicom's dial-up and broadband subscribers.

The Tata Indicom Web Protect is a client-based solution that can enable subscribers to apply different internet access policies for every user who accesses the computer. Moreover, the access policies can be managed via the internet, with a remote administration feature.
