Videsh Sanchar Nigam Ltd (VSNL) has appointed Dave Rayan as chief operating officer (COO) of its US affiliate VSNL America Inc. Prior to joining VSNL America, Mr Ryan was executive vice-president and COO for NTT America and was responsible for operations and expansion in North America, VSNL officials said in Mumbai on Monday. He would be reporting to VSNL (executive director) international business group Vinod Kumar, who is based in Singapore.
