Notes:
- Exceptional Items (Net) for
the quarter ended 30th June, 2005 comprise : Profit
on sale of properties / compensation on surrender
of tenancy rights - Rs 394 lakhs (quarter ended 30th
June, 2004 - Rs 505 lakhs), Charge of Rs.1134 lakhs
towards VRS expenses (quarter ended 30th June, 2004
- Rs 193 lakhs).
- Provision
for taxation for the quarter ended 30th June, 2005,
includes foreign income tax of Rs. 24 lakhs (quarter
ended 30th June, 2004 - Nil ) and Wealth tax of Rs.3
lakhs (quarter ended 30th June, 2004 - Rs.4 lakhs).
- The Statutory Auditors of
the Company have conducted a "Limited Review"
of the Profit and Loss Account for the quarter ended
30th June, 2005.
- The above results were approved
by the Board of Directors at its Meeting held on 28th
July, 2005.
- There were no investor complaints
pending as on 1st April, 2005 or 30th June, 2005.
The Company had received one complaint during the
quarter ended 30th June, 2005 which was attended to
and resolved.
- Figures for the previous
quarter and year have been regrouped, wherever necessary.
