Titan, Hosur, bags Srishti Good Green Governance Award 2006

The EMS team from Titan watch division, Hosur, has bagged the Srishti Good Green Governance runner up award for the year 2006 in the area of manufacturing industry.

The awards were distributed on Earth Day celebrated on April 22, 2007, at a function organised by Srishti at Kota House, New Delhi. The award was received by Manoj Chakravarti and S Anantha Rao on behalf of the watches environment team from Kamal Nath, central minister for commerce and industry.

The award, given at the national level, has been instituted by Srishti Publications to be a driving force for sustainable environmental management excellence in both manufacturing and service sectors, leading to improved corporate business performance.

For the year 2006, a total of 200 companies across the country had applied for the award from both manufacturing and service sectors.
