Harish Bhat to join Titan Industries

Titan Industries is pleased to announce that Harish Bhat, currently president — marketing, Tata Teleservices, will be joining Titan as the chief operating officer of the Time Products Division.

Harish Bhat, a BE (electronics) graduate from BITS Pilani (1985) with a PGDM from IIM-A (1987), joined the Tata Administrative Service (TAS) in 1987 and over the past 19 years has handled several senior assignments within the Tata Group companies including Tata Tea and Tata Chemicals. For Harish Bhat, this will be his second innings at Titan Industries, where he was earlier vice president — sales and marketing, Tanishq and became the Jewellery Division's COO in 2003.

Harish Bhat is expected to join the company in April 2006.
