'World
of Titan' expands retail reach in Northeast

First exclusive World of
Titan Store in Dimapur inaugurated
With
focus on increasing its retail reach across the country,
Titan Industries today proudly announced the opening
of its 179th showroom in the country and first World
of Titan store in Nyamolotha Road, (Nr. Plaza Restaurant),
Dimapur - 797112, Nagaland. This new World of
Titan offers an innovative retailing experience
providing customers an easier access to the most admired
and popular brand of watches in India. Sanjay Kumar
Sethi is the franchisee for the first authorized World
of Titan store opened in Dimapur.
Speaking on the occasion, Dhruv Bogra - head —
retailing services group, Titan Industries, says,
"Titan has always had a stronghold in the Indian
watch market and our chain of World of Titan showrooms
have been anticipated to reinforce it. With the expansion
of our World of Titan network, introduction of new products
and special occasion led promotions for our customers
we are positive that we will continue to be the first
choice amongst all watch brands spread across the country".
The new retail identity encourages browsing, with no
pressure to buy on the customers. Most sub-brands at
Titan are displayed in the vertical units at eye-level
or in flat bed counters along with their price tags
helping the buyer to choose in comfort. The new layout,
which also uses island space, is devised to break the
conventional concepts of sales personnel and customer
interaction from a 'we-they' approach to a 'we together
will choose' approach. The showroom has been designed
to give each sub-brand its space and identity and allows
customers to shop in comfort even during the peak seasons.
The showroom will retail Titan's many sub-brands that
have been designed to focus on specific customer segments.
Like other World of Titan showrooms, the store will
offer some innovative value added services like gift
vouchers, special gift packaging and gift delivery service.
Customers to the new showroom can also enroll for the
highly popular and rewarding Signet loyalty programme
and avail an extended warranty offered exclusively by
the World of Titan chain.
The new format World of Titan
store features over 1,000 watches in addition to the
Titan, Sonata, Fastrack, Nebula range of watches and
Fastrack Eye Gear. It also houses a Watch Care Centre.
The store has been designed along international lines,
to offer an aesthetic appeal for customers, thereby
facilitating a closer relationship and allowing the
customer to spend more time in the store. Some of the
key elements of the new retail identity are the open
shop facade, glazed windows, modern external signage
and a contemporary material palette and colours designed
to attract customers.
The World of Titan show rooms chain today comprises 179
franchised stores spread across over 105
cities, attracting more than 12 lakh customers
every year.
