sets foot in Pakistan

Titan Industries, the Rs 3,000 crore watches and jewellery
firm of the Tata Group, has set foot in Pakistan. The
company over the last week opened two outlets in Karachi
and Lahore.
Manoj Chakravarthi, group advisor, Titan Industries
said they are excited to enter this market which offers
good opportunities.
"We have set up a large World of Titan showroom
in Lahore and a Titan exclusive store in Karachi. We
want to aggressively increase our presence in Pakistan
over the next six months with presence in Islamabad
and Rawalpindi and plan to extend our stocks to at least
50 dealers in Pakistan," Chakravarthi added.
Titan Industries has ent-ered into a distributor agreement
with Clover Pakistan Ltd, a business which has various
agreements with Colgate-Palmolive and McDonald's. Titan
for this foray into Pakistan sourced various components
from a few overseas locations and is routing its entry
through Titan Dubai.
