TCS signs
S$6-million technology refresh programme with Parkway Hospitals

Consultancy Services (TCS) has entered into a strategic engagement with Parkway
Hospitals, which is run by Parkway, one of Asia's most prominent healthcare organisations,
to provide and implement a leading healthcare information management solution
for their hospitals, which include Gleneagles, Mount Elizabeth, East Shore Hospitals,
Parkway Laboratory Services, Medi-Rad Associates, as well as for clinics globally. As
part of this S$6-million engagement, TCS will work closely with Parkway to customise
and enhance its leading Hospital Management Solution (HMS) based on TCS technology
for Parkway, as per their specific needs. TCS will also implement the Oracle E-Business
Suite an integrated suite of applications with healthcare-specific functionality.
Parkway's extensive expertise and understanding of the private healthcare services
will complement the deep knowledge and understanding of the TCS healthcare practice
and TCS' global expertise in software IT solutions implementation services. "TCS
