Singapore Technologies Electronics Ltd, (ST Electronics), the electronics arm of Singapore Technologies Engineering Ltd, and Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) announced a partnership for the marketing of identified IT solutions developed jointly by ST Electronics and TCS to the regional market on Wednesday. "TCS is delighted to be partnering with ST Electronics. The combination of ST Electronics' advanced IT solutions and TCS' global software delivery model represents a win-win situation for our customers," said Mr Ramadorai, chief executive officer and managing director, TCS.

ST Electronics specialises in the design, development and integration of advanced electronics systems, such as broadband radio frequency and satellite communication, rail and traffic management, intelligent building management, and information security and mobile commerce solutions.

TCS will work jointly on projects, including e-government, communications and logistics, using ST Electronics' mission-critical project experience and TCS' expertise in software IT solutions implementation services. "ST Electronics' intimate knowledge of the Asia Pacific market and our partner's influence in the Indian and global markets will enhance our market reach," said Mr Seah Moon Ming, president, ST Electronics.
