Fortune 2000 Companies.
Tata
Consultancy Services, one of the world's largest
software and IT services consultancies, today
announced the expansion of their agreement with
InfoSpace to include distribution, consulting
and system integration services for InfoSpace's
Consumer, Merchant, Wireless and Broadband solutions
to global Fortune 2000 companies. TCS and InfoSpace
will initially work together in North America,
Europe, Japan, Southeast Asia and Australia. The
primary focus areas will be finance, enterprise,
and telecommunications.
This announcement comes on the heels of TCS and
InfoSpace's September 14th announcement that TCS
will offer InfoSpace's platform of wireless Internet
services to wireless carriers in Asia, building
on InfoSpace's existing agreements in the region
and spearheading the entry of InfoSpace's wireless
service platform in the Asian market.
Naveen Jain, chairman and chief strategist, who
founded InfoSpace in April 1996, said, "Deepening
our partnership with TCS will allow us to reach
the global Fortune 2000 faster by exploiting the
business knowledge and geographical reach of TCS".
Speaking on the occasion, TCS CEO "Ram"
Ramadorai said, "TCS will offer its system
integration and wireless expertise to implement
InfoSpace solutions."
