TCS launches performance engineering lab in US

Consultancy Services Ltd and Mercury Interactive
Corporation of the US has opened a performance-engineering
laboratory to provide customers with advanced
services, products and technologies to effectively
manage performance lifecycle of mission-critical
applications, reports PTI. The lab combines best
practices from TCS' global Performance Engineering'
Services with leading application management and
performance testing products, and leverages products
from Mercury business availability centre and
Mercury Performance Centre, a TCS release said
here on Tuesday.
The lab was opened in Bloomington, Minnesota,
it said. The services from the lab include application
performance and end-user management, remote scripting
and monitoring. Additional value-added services
in capacity planning and design engineering space
are also planned in the coming quarters, it added.
It would serve North American geography where
TCS "generates 60 per cent of its global revenue
and would focus on research and development related
to technology and tools performance evaluation
and benchmarking, it added.
