Tata Consultancy Services and CMC have jointly bagged the contract for integrated port management system from Adani Ports. The contract involved computerisation of the ports’ bulk cargo needs for the Mundra port in Kutch district, a TCS release said here today. While TCS will execute and maintain mission critical projects, CMC will update their cargo logistics management product to meet the requirements of ports in India and abroad. TCS vice president Atul Takle was quoted as saying that the two companies would jointly target other major ports in the Asia Pacific region.
