Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has signed up with Container Centralen (CC) to develop a unique web application for the flower and plant industry, today, CC runs more than 1.8 million trolleys for the European flower and plant industry. CC is 50 per cent owned by the Danish flower exports with the other 50 per cent by VGB - Dutch Union of Flower Wholesalers and serve more than 19,000 customers in 23 different European countries. The web depot application that TCS is developing will help CC in raising the quality and speed of data interchange, ensuring lower storage and transportation costs and improving transparency of container transactions.
