CA licence for TCS, RBI div, NIC by July end
Financial Express - June 5, 2002

New Delhi: The controller of certifying authorities (CCA) will issue three more certifying authority (CA) licences — to Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), an arm of reserve bank of India and NIC — by the end of July. "TCS and the Institute for Research and Development of Banking Technology (IRDBT), a division of RBI, have been already examined twice by auditors and the second round of auditing could start by the third week of this month," KN Gupta, controller, CCA told PTI on the sidelines of a public key infrastructure seminar here on Tuesday. The CCA had earlier appointed TCS as an auditor. A certifying authority licence for digital signature will validate the online transactions and will make an attempt to move to paperless business.
