Tata Indicom introduces RemoMail

Tata Indicom has launched a new service — RemoMail, an email service on mobile phones.The service allows mobile users to access business or personal mails from any Brew or Java-enabled Tata Indicom mobile phone. The service provides the comfort of being able to read, write, reply, forward, or delete emails from anywhere, anytime by simply using the email application on the Tata Indicom mobile phone. The service can be accessed from entry-level handsets as well.

RemoMail allows access to popular email accounts like yahoo.com, yahoo.co.in, rediff.com, gmail.com, hotmail.com, sify.com, indiatimes.com, vsnl.net, vsnl.com, and other POP3 accounts. Corporate e-mail accounts like MS Exchange 2000 / 2003; Lotus Notes 5.x, 6.x, 7.x and other IMAP4 accounts too can be accessed using this service.
