Tata Teleservices announced the launch of comprehensive 'Tamil Voice station' for Tata Indicom subscribers. The South Indian Mega Star and Tata Indicom brand ambassador Trisha unveiled the Tamil Portal.

The 'Tamil Voice Station' is a multi-access entertainment voice portal on Tata Indicom mobile and Walky, which offers a variety of content in the arena of movies — Rajni Zone, Trisha Zone, Vivek Zone, Tamil Shlokas and Golden words of Bhartiyar.

To access the interactive 'Tamil Voice Station' subscribers of Tata Indicom Mobile and Walky can dial 12900 and avail of the host of voice services like superstar Rajnikant's famous songs, punch lines, Trisha's hit songs, Vivek's audio comedy clips, interviews and songs.

On the occasion Madhusudan Mandyam, chief operating fficer (COO) — T.N. and Kerala, Tata Teleservices said, "We have always been driven by a vision to offer the best in technology and to make mobility a way of life for all our customers. Tamil Nadu is one of the fastest growing telecom markets in India and while we feel honoured by the trust our customers have shown in us, it has also been an inspiration for us, to offer world class services to our customers, much ahead of the others."

In trend with this tradition we are launching a comprehensive 'Tamil Voice Station' for Tamil Nadu subscribers to make it convenient and user friendly when they use our service.

Keeping in line with Tata Indicom's philosophy 'Do More Live More', the Tamil Voice Station empowers you to maximize your life through unique experiences and unlike other similar services, where the subscriber will actually have to dial a particular number after listening to the voice prompt for getting the preferred facility, in the voice portal, the subscriber needs to speak into the phone and let his or her requirement be known."

Tata Indicom customers can listen and dedicate songs of their choice to other Tata Indicom subscribers with their voice customisation. The charge for using this service is a Rs 6 per minute and there is no separate charge for downloading!
