Indicom launches USB modem

Tata Indicom
today announced the launch of a USB modem that fits
into standard port available in most desktops as well
as laptops and can be used anywhere in the country.
It connects to Internet without the need of any telephone
line or external modem. Its features include a multi-purpose
wireless network card, a modem and a mobile phone and
enables users to send and receive e-mail, connect to
a corporate network, make and receive voice calls without
the need of a network cable or phone call. The USB modem
is priced at Rs 3,850.
