Pantech, Tata Indicom
The Indian Express—November 18, 2005

The Pantech PA-711 is a South Korean import and one of the first CDMA handsets to be brought in association with Tata Indicom. The features include a unique software the makers call BREW, which allows users to download entertainment applications to personalise their handsets. The T9 input function lets consumers use a variety of language characters from English, Hindi, Korean and Chinese, besides wireless internet access and e-mail options. With games, a video player, three-way calling, voice tones and 180 hours of stand-by time, this phone seems to be a great way to get all the talk that Kajol and Ajay are raving about. Price Rs 4,699.
