Tata Teleservices Ltd (TTSL) has rolled out branded phones, Indicom Gem, targeting entry-level customers in the country. The effective cost of the handset is Rs 499. However, subscribers will have to pay Rs 1,999 for the handset and connection, and TTSL will be offering a free talktime of Rs 1,500. This is for calls made to other local Tata Indicom mobiles. The limited period offer is available in Mumbai, Maharashtra and Delhi circles.
