Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) chief executive S Ramadorai has been invested with the additional responsibility of chairman of Tata Technologies, a Pune-based IT consulting and services company with expertise in the automobile and aerospace industries. Mr. Ramadorai’s appointment as chairman of tata Technologies was announced today. Tata Technologies was a division of Telco and was spun-off as a separate subsidiary in 1997. The company has a total employee strength of around 2000 and a turnover of $24m, including revenues from its Singapore and US subsidiaries.
