Pune: Tata Technologies (India) (TTIL) will set up a software resource centre on a 9.5 acre plot at the Software Technology Park at Hinjawadi. Ratan Tata, group chairman, performed the ‘bhoomi pujan’ according to a statement released here.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr Tata said, "My greatest dream is that Tata Technologies will become a global leader in the field of manufacturing IT". TTIL has three business lines, application services provider (ASP), engineering automation (EA) and Enterprise Solutions (ES).

The new centre will support the IT company’s customers in India, the US, Europe and the Asia-Pacific region. These customers will be able to access TTIL’s ‘customer innovation centre’, with remote access being provided through high bandwidth pipes.
