Tata's
new Tech centre takes off

Pune:
Tata Technologies (India) (TTIL) will set up a
software resource centre on a 9.5 acre plot at
the Software Technology Park at Hinjawadi. Ratan
Tata, group chairman, performed the bhoomi
pujan according to a statement released
here.
Speaking
at the ceremony, Mr Tata said, "My greatest
dream is that Tata Technologies will become a
global leader in the field of manufacturing IT".
TTIL has three business lines, application services
provider (ASP), engineering automation (EA) and
Enterprise Solutions (ES).
The
new centre will support the IT companys
customers in India, the US, Europe and the Asia-Pacific
region. These customers will be able to access
TTILs customer innovation centre,
with remote access being provided through high
bandwidth pipes.
