Tata Football Academy (TFA) cadets represented Indian team in the Asian Football Championship for U-17, which was held in Japan recently. The five cadets who participated in the championship are: 

1. Shilton Paul
2. C. Chandrashekhar
3. Herohito Elangbham
4. Bimal Minz
5. Harmanjot Singh

Carlton Chapman who is the assistant coach of TFA was designated as the assistant coach of the Indian U-17 for this championship. 

Prior to the camp, the team had been to Leicester City Academy, England for specialised soccer training.

The Indian team in this visit had played three tournaments with Malaysia, Iran and Kuwait, out of which it won one with Malaysia.
