Tata Steel Q3 net at Rs 1,069cr

Tata Steel today reported a net profit of Rs 1,068.58 crore for the third quarter ended December, 2007, when compared with Rs 1,063.75 crore reported in the corresponding quarter a year ago.

According to a release issued by the company to the BSE today, the company's total income for Q3FY08 increased 10.3% to Rs 5,040.95 crore from Rs 4,568.20 crore in Q3FY07.
