Tata Steel quiz today

Tata Steel will conduct an inter-school quiz in the city on Wednesday as part of its centenary year celebrations.

The 'Tata Steel Centenary Inter-School Quiz' is one of the several social activities taken up through the year to promote the quest of knowledge among the younger generation.

At a briefing on Tuesday, executive-in-charge of Titania Project and Geological Services of Tata Steel S. Asokan said the regional quiz would be conducted at Chinmaya Heritage Centre, Harrington Road, on Wednesday from 2 p.m.

The event to be conducted by quizmaster Giri Balasubramaniam, will cover a gamut of topics from general awareness and sports to history and science. The three winning teams would qualify for the national final in Jamshedpur on January 18, 2008.
