Tata Steel to unveil new brand at AEC World Expo

With Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC)
World Expo & Conferences scheduled to be held between
December 14-18, 2005 at the MMRDA grounds at Bandra
Kurla Complex in Mumbai, Tata Steel Hollow Sections
- the vision partners of the Expo - is planning to unveil
its new brand, basically meant for the construction
industry, on the very first day of the Expo. According
to Ashish Anupam, chief - marketing and sales (tubes),
Tata Steel Ltd, "We will launch our new brand at
the 'LINKS', a design commentation organised by Tata
Steel Hollow Sections at the Expo.
Organised by Indian Architect & Builder magazine
and Jasubhai Media, supported by the Chemtech Foundation
and with Vision Partners Tata Steel Hollow Sections,
the AEC World Expo will bring together all those involved
in the building development cycle - architects, engineers,
contractor, suppliers and others - at a single gathering
that offers opportunities for networking. Jasubhai Group,
chairman, Jasu Shah said, "The objective is to
provide new learning in construction techniques and
material uses to build the future of our urban landscapes."
Besides Tata Steel Hollow Section, David Nixon (Altus
Labs, NASA) will be conducting a workshop on 'Design
for Living in Space' at the Expo. There will be AEC
Expo Nerve Centre designed by Plasmatic Concepts, USA
combined with the inventive skills of American architects,
Sarah Lorenzon and David Hartwell of Plasmatic.
