Kamesh Gupta appointed COO of Tata Industrial Services

Kamesh Gupta has been appointed as the chief operating officer (COO) of Tata Industrial Services. As the COO, Mr Gupta will be responsible for the offset facilitation and industrial collaboration of the Tata Group with the OEMs and domestic partners looking for participating in Indian defence programmes.

Tata Industrial Services has been set up as a window of Tata Group for partnering relationships between the OEMs and eligible domestic offset partners to meet the country’s reconfigured defence needs. It is committed to facilitate fulfillment of offset obligations in defence and commercial sectors including industrial collaborations.

Mr Gupta, has been associated with the Tata Group for many years, and has held various positions of significance within the Group, the last being the position of vice president (public affairs) at Tata Services, Delhi. He has led various initiatives and contributed in the areas of sales, services, marketing, product development, programme management, supply chain management and exports over his career span with the Tata Group.
