Tata
Consultancy Services and Vizag Steel score in Kolkata
July 5, 2006
The
Kolkata edition of the Corporate Crucible Quiz was a
thriller with both versions (Tata and non-Tata) turning
out to be extremely keenly contested affairs.
Backed by a crowd of over 200,
the Tata track saw Tata Consultancy Services (2 teams),
Tata Steel, Tata Motors, Metal Junction and Tata Interactive
Systems as the final six teams on stage. Tata Consultancy
Services emerged as winners with the men of steel coming
in second.
In the non-Tata track Vizag Steel
won after a hard fought seven question tiebreaker. They
were pitched against two professors from the International
School of Business and Media who missed out on the flight
to Mumbai for the National Finals. Eveready Industries
came in third by a difference of just five points. The
other finalists were ITC, IMS Learning, and Congnizant.
The Crucible Quiz continues its
