The
Bombay House Exchange is shifting from the MTNL
to Hughes Telecom. Therefore, the existing board
line of Bombay House, 204 9131, will change to
5665 8282 or more conveniently, 5665 TATA, effective
from November 10, 2002. Similarly, all other office
numbers within Bombay House (including those of
group companies based here) will also change.
A quick guide on how to derive the new number
from the existing number:

Callers on the existing
board line 204 9131 will be informed of the new number 5665 8282
via a voice prompt, and will get routed accordingly. People
calling any of the old DiD extensions at Bombay House will also
similarly be connected to the required extension. This will
continue for a short while until people become aware of the new
numbers, so as to minimise inconvenience.
The four-digit Bombay
House extensions for dialing within the exchange, remain
unchanged. Direct line numbers (not currently routed through the
Bombay House exchange) and fax number changes will be decided upon
shortly.
