Bimal Rath appointed VP, group HR, Tata Sons Ltd
Bimal Rath has joined as vice-president, group human resources, Tata Sons Ltd. Mr Rath has taken over from Alex Emmanuel, who has moved to Tata Teleservices Ltd as chief HR officer.

Mr Rath has 13 years' experience in human resources and business management with various Indian and multinational companies.

Before joining the Tata Group, he was working as part of the business services group within British Telecom as director-HR and project support, where he helped evaluate and set up new business ventures in India, the Middle East and Africa.

Radhakrishnan Nair appointed VP (HR projects), Tata Sons Ltd
Radhakrishnan Nair has joined as vice-president, human resources projects, Tata Sons Ltd.

Mr Nair comes to the Tata Group from Mahindra British Telecom, where he was heading the worldwide human resources function. His key area of responsibility at Mahindra BT was to strategise action plans in different aspects of people processes.

He has also had brief stints with Citibank NA, Mahindra Ford India Ltd, Indian Aluminium Company Ltd and Eicher.
