Tata Administrative Services
(TAS) is the only Indian entity to feature amongst the
Top 10 Preferred Recruiters at the premier
Indian B-schools in India this year. The flagship talent
acquisition and development arm of the Tata Group, has
emerged third among the top 10 most preferred recruiters,
according to the latest ACNielsen Campustrack Survey
2007.
The top recruiters in the premier business schools
include McKinsey, BCG, TAS, Goldman Sachs, P&G,
Accenture, Nokia, Barclays Capital, Deutsche Bank and
Google.
As the Tata Group transforms itself into an MNC
in the true sense with cross-border growth, M&As
and organic projects, TAS is providing young professionals
with exciting challenges and the pride of a generation
making a discontinuous difference, Satish Pradhan,
executive vice-president, group human resources, Tata
Sons, said on the development.
The premier institutes include IIM Ahmedabad, Bangalore,
Calcutta, Lucknow, FMS Delhi, SP Jain Mumbai, XLRI Jamshedpur;
as well as JBIMS Mumbai. Incorporated in 1950s, TAS
is the central talent pool and leadership pipeline for
the Tata Group. It is a developmental programme designed
to groom and prepare young professionals for general
management for the Tata Group.
And deputes talent across companies, industries, functions
and geographies. It remains perhaps the only Indian
employment brand that recruits for long term mobility
across sectors, functions, geographies and businesses.
