Former Tata Steel managing director Jamshed J Irani has been elected as president of the Kuala Lumpur-based Asian Association of Management Organisation (AAMO). Mr Irani was a nominee of All India Management Association in which he has served as president. Currently, he is a director on the board of Tata Steel. Formed in 1960 as the Asian Regional Group of the World Management Council, AAMO is a non-political and non-profit making organisation set up to promote the principles and methods of sound management, an AIMA release said.
