J N Tata Endowment for Higher Education of Indians has selected 125 candidates as J N Tata Scholars for post graduate and doctoral studies and research abroad for academic year 2004-05. About Rs 3 crore would be disbursed through loan and gift scholarships and travel grants to the scholars, it said in a release. The scholarships cover more than 24 fields of study including engineering, computer sciences, law, art, architecture and service sector studies, it said.
