The All India Management Association (AIMA) has awarded the JRD Tata Corporate Leadership Award to JJ Irani, director, Tata Sons Ltd, while the Lifetime Achievement Award for Management was given to Keshub Mahindra, chairman, Mahindra & Mahindra. Speaking on the occasion, NK Singh member, Planning Commission, said that for the betterment of the Indian economy, there must be strong private-public partnership. “This coming budget hopefully will provide the impetus to grow at 7 per cent from the current 6 per cent,” he said. The awards were given away on AIMA’s foundation day.
