Tata
Central Archives brought out the Tata group companies
historical documents and other exhibits that track
the 123 year-old history of the industrial conglomerate
on the 163rd birth anniversary of Jamsetji
Tata in the city on March 3. The archives, housed
in Tata Management Training Centre in the city,
will be opened for the public from March 5. "The
Tata Central Archives is much more than a museum
of Indias best-known industrial group that
has 80 companies with a turnover of Rs 36,000
crore and employing over 3 lakh people,"
TR Doongji, managing director of Tata Services,
said.
