Prof. Amartya Sen will deliver the 14^th Sir Dorab Tata Memorial Lecture on ‘India and the World’ at the Tata Theatre in Mumbai on Tuesday. Ratan Tata, chairman of Sir Dorabji Tata Trust, will preside. The lecture is open to the public on a first-come-first-served basis. The Sir Dorab Tata Memorial Lecture was instituted in 1960 by the trustees of the Sir Dorabji Tata Trust to commemorate the birth centenary of Sir Dorabji Tata, the elder son of Jamsetji Tata, founder of the Tata group.
