Tata Power in J'khand

Tata Power has embarked upon investment in the energy sector in Jharkhand. Tata Power's venture in power sector in Jharkhand was a result of the efforts pf the Jharkhand government to disband the generation and distribution sectors from the state-owned power utility - Jharkhand State Electricity Board (JSEB). To begin with the disbanding process, JSEB has been restructured with the removal of the board chairman and other board members, and induction of the state chief secretary PP Sharma as chairman.
