Tata Motors, CVBU, Pune, bags the prestigious Golden Peacock National Quality Award 2006

Tata Motors, CVBU, Pune, has bagged the 'Golden Peacock National Quality Award 2006 in the 'Large Manufacturing Enterprise' category. CVBU Pune's general manager SP Joshi received the award on behalf of Tata Motors at a ceremony at the Institute of Directors' Convention on Quality and 17th World Congress on Quality at the ITC Hotel Sonar Bangla Sheraton, Kolkata. Dr Ola Ullsten, former prime minister of Sweden, presented the award. The award is very special as it is based on a meticulously defined, transparent selection criteria and is determined by a highly elaborate independent assessment process. The Golden Peacock National Quality Award recognises the company's commitment to quality.
