The first batch of Tata CNG Buses in Gujarat flagged off

Tata Motors, India’s largest automobile manufacturer, has supplied the first batch of CNG buses to Gujarat State Road Transport Corporation (GSRTC). Narendra Modi, chief minister, Gujarat flagged off these CNG buses at the Gandhinagar bus depot, near Pathik Ashram, Gandhinagar. For GSRTC, this is the first acquisition of CNG buses and all the five LPO 1510C CNG chassis have been given by Tata Motors. These buses will ply between Gandhinagar and Ahmedabad.
States Shyam Mani, vice president — sales and marketing, commercial vehicle business unit, Tata Motors, “We are indeed very privileged to supply the first batch of CNG buses to GSRTC. As the country’s leading automobile manufacturer, we are actively partnering with the industry, government and other related agencies to promote the use of environmentally sustainable technologies and low cost emission development strategies”. Today there are over 3,400 Tata CNG buses currently plying on Delhi and Mumbai roads of which 1,400 Tata CNG buses are with DTC and BEST. Additionally, the company has also developed a wide range of CNG vehicles including Indica with CNG application and LCV-407 CNG vehicle for bus applications.

vehicle brands are among the top ten selling models
in India.
